Unit I Content Objectives: Students will: Analyze the importance of each ideology in light of competing ideas such as pragmatism, practicality and the changing agenda of American politics. Explain the necessity of politically informed citizens participating in the democratic process. Skill Objectives: Be able to: · Recognize instances in which more than one interpretation of factual material is valid. · Make a decision based on the data obtained. · Combine critical concepts into a statement of conclusions based on information.
